REET 2017 Eligibility, 3rd Grade Level-I/ II Age Limit, B.Ed, BSTC

Minimum Criteria for REET 2017 Eligibility: Board of Secondary Education (BSER) Ajmer is organizing Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET-2017) for recruiting 25000 3rd-grade teachers. If you are interested and eligible then you can apply for REET 2017-2018 online application. Since the RBSE is also conducting Class X and Class XII board examination so the recruitment process shall be very fast. Within 6 months, board is going to accept online form, conduct the exam and even declare the results.

According to the latest news and updates in the Newspaper, student passed in 12th class and have BSTC certificate can apply for Level-I teachers and if are graduate and B.Ed then you can apply for Level-II  (Class 6th to 8th).

The candidate must note that you have to qualify minimum eligibility criteria i.e age limit, education qualification of REET-2017. Without which your application form is rejected in any point of time. Providing the false document at the time of document verification is also a crime therefore do not fill the form if you are not eligible.

REET 2017 Eligibility Standard

Good news: The Board is soon going to accept online REET-2017 form. You must meet also the minimum eligibility criteria of 3rd-grade teachers. The age limit for General, OBC, SC, ST category is not available in addition your must also have desired education qualification of LEVEL-I and LEVEL-II teachers is given below.

Education Qualification

First thing first, there are two levels in REET 2017. The level-1 is for the candidates, looking to teach Class I to Class V and the level-2 is for the teachers who wants to teacher Class VI to Class VIII. So the eligibility is also different.

Level-I REET 2017 Eligibility

The candidate willing to teach Class-I to Class-V has to appear in REET-2018 Level-I (प्रथम स्तर). Below is the education qualification required.

सामान्य शिक्षक/ General Teacher

a) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year
Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name was known) OR

b)  Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulation, 2002 OR

c) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR

d) Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Special Teacher/ विशेष शिक्षक हेतु 

For the special subject teacher, the minimum education qualification is given below.

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Level-II REET 2017 Eligibility

The candidate who are eligible and willing to teach Class VI to Class VIII has to appear in Level-II of REET 2018. Please find the minimum education qualification given below.

General Teacher/ सामान्य शिक्षक

a) Graduation and passed or appearing in final of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR

b) Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1 year B.Ed. passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR

c) Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1 year B.Ed. passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard. OR

d) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). OR

e) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc.Ed.

Special Teacher/ विशेष शिक्षक हेतु

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

Age Limit

We have checked the REET-2015 notification, there was no information of age limit or relaxation of age on the basis of TSP/ Non-TSP area. The minimum age limit required for Level-I or Level-II teacher is as per the REET-2017 notification. We are going to update this section soon after official notification.
